Job Title: Computer Vision Scientist
Job Overview: We are seeking a talented and motivated Computer Vision Scientist to join our team. Responsibilities:
- Research, design, and develop state-of-the-art computer vision algorithms for image and video analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and define computer vision project requirements and objectives.
- Collect, preprocess, and curate large-scale visual datasets for training and evaluation.
- Develop and implement machine learning and deep learning models to solve specific computer vision tasks, such as object detection, segmentation, tracking, and recognition.
- Explore and experiment with various neural network architectures, loss functions, and optimization techniques to improve model performance.
- Implement and optimize algorithms for real-time and efficient processing of visual data.
- Conduct rigorous testing and evaluation of computer vision models, including benchmarking against existing methods and ground truth data.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in computer vision research and contribute to the organization's technical knowledge base.
- Collaborate with software engineers to integrate computer vision solutions into applications and products.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on computer vision.
- Proven experience in developing computer vision algorithms, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful projects and applications.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or C++ for algorithm development and implementation.
- Strong understanding of computer vision principles, image processing techniques, and feature extraction methods.
- Experience with deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and computer vision libraries (e.g., OpenCV).
- Solid mathematical background in linear algebra, calculus, and optimization.
- Familiarity with popular computer vision datasets and evaluation metrics.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to design innovative solutions to complex visual recognition challenges.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.
- Publication record in computer vision conferences and journals is a plus.
