Software Engineer - AI Investor - New York City 

A Seed Stage Applied AI Research Lab that are building a fully autonomous AI investor with the mission of pushing machine intelligence to its limits and monetizing it directly through financial markets are looking for a Software Engineer to join their team.

What Will I Be Doing?

• Designing and improving an AI-driven development environment that decomposes complex financial questions into structured, solvable problems
• Building systems that write, execute, and iterate on auditable data-science code autonomously
• Developing feedback loops (LLMs, expert systems, RL, retrieval) to continuously improve prediction accuracy
• Architecting long-running, automated investment processes that evolve over time
• Thinking at the system level - collaborating with a high-talent-density team to holistically improve financial intelligence end-to-end

What We’re Looking For:

• 3–8 years of experience in high-talent-density environments
• Deep hands-on experience and have shipped production systems end-to-end
• Strong Python backend fundamentals
• Someone who thinks architecturally and at the system level
• Thrive in high-ownership environments
• Clear ownership of 0→1 systems
