Software Engineer

Backend & Infrastructure Engineer | Cloud & Automation | San Fran or NYC

We’re looking for a Backend/Infra Engineer to help scale infrastructure automation, shared backend systems, and project spin-up tooling for a fast-growing tech organization. You’ll play a key role in making multi-project deployments seamless across dev, staging, and production environments, while ensuring backend systems are robust, secure, and repeatable.

What you’ll be doing:

• Build and maintain deployments across multiple environments
• Scale and optimize infrastructure using Terraform and GCP services
• Develop backend systems in Python (FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, Pydantic) with CI/CD integration
• Manage databases, migrations, and caching layers (Postgres, Redis)
• Ensure production parity, security, and efficient environment orchestration
• Contribute to backend standards, automation tools, and team best practices

This role is hands-on engineering - not immediately a management position — but offers the chance to own core systems, shape best practices, and support the scaling of multiple production services.
